Fendi’s SS26 Peekaboo Delivers Inner Beauty

At the SS26 show, Fendi’s Peekaboo bag proves that style is not one dimensional.

The return of Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bag at their SS26 collection ticks the rare box of beauty on the outside and inside. Although bags sometimes fade into the background on the runway, the Peekaboo stood out and proved its staying power.

Peakaboo’s power lies in its versatility of balancing bold femininity, timeless elegance, and charming spirit. Creating something perfect for everyday wear or as a statement piece.

Whether you’re the indecisive type or love the bold duality of mixing patterns and colours, the Peekaboo can adapt to all facets of your style and personality. From whimsical to demure to wild child, the Peekaboo manages to push the boundaries of style and time. After all, Fendi has never been one to stay within the box.

Created in 2008, the Peekaboo bag drew its inspiration from the children’s game “peek-a-boo, I see you” and evokes a similar childlike wonder in the fashion world by playing with contrasting colours and textures. As a result, the bag has become a staple of the Roman House’s craftsmanship and creativity.

The bag’s subtle exteriors opens to reveal playful interiors adorned with lush paillettes, beads, studs, and crystals. Fendi pairs Classic brown mahogany leathers with vibrant colours and patterns in ways that command attention.

For instance, glamorous paillettes arranged in eye-catching variations — from dazzling purple to asymmetrical turquoise to shimmering green — showcases the 40 plus hours of loving craftsmanship dedicated to each bag.

A statement of Fendi’s mastery of materials at SS26 show came in the form of a high-end pink mink Peekaboo. Covered with hand-beaded embroidery in the pattern of florals, the bag took over 200 hours of work. Regardless if you like whimsycore, alt-fashion, or maximalism — the Peekaboo is certified stylish.

Available in store from February 5th, 2026.
