Liu Yaowen is wearing the Gucci Link to Love collection as it should be worn in our opinion — stacked and decked.

By now, you’d know that we love a good piece of jewellery — the icier, the better in fact. If you want to twin with your #bestbro, even better. We’re even into watches that are as smooth as they are quite literally, spaced out. What then is our point? Well, it’s that the best men’s jewellery is now chunky as it is funky and because we’re here to elucidate about what to cop, we’re going to talk about the Gucci Link to Love collection.

The Italian House calls it a “collection of contemporary, gender-neutral jewelry representing the infinite cycles of life, romance and togetherness” but what we see is the new frontier of male jewellery. It’s not hard to figure out how to wear it (the colours range from 18k white to pink gold) with what you’ve already got. Neither, is it difficult to comprehend: first timers will want the plain finish and jewellery enthusiasts will want the sets with pavé diamonds or ones set with green tourmalines, rubellites, or baguette-cut diamonds.

Take Liu Yaowen pictured above for example, it’s not the classic “one-in-each-colour” exercise most men do. It’s carefully considered in fact. Yellow gold pieces carefully layered that sets off the simplicity of a piece in white gold.

What is the next step in the grand scheme of layering the Gucci Link to Love collection? We highly recommend mixing different textures all over your digits. The collection’s bracelets have an easy-to-open clasp that pops on with a satisfying click.
