For Pre-Fall 2017, Gucci’s classic white court styles have been updated with five new styles for men – with interchangeable patches that attach using snap buttons. Each can then be customised further when you acquire additional patches from a range of nine add-ons.
The Gucci emblems decorating Ace Patch kicks: the iconic Gucci tiger head, cat, dragon, panther and “Blind For Love” design. As with previous styles, the back of the heels come in laminated snake skin – blue on the right shoe and red on the left. For the collection, all models come with specially designed packaging: black satin dust bags and bags featuring a multi-coloured ‘rainbow’ stripe.
In addition to these pre-determined pieces, nine detachable patches – a beaded heart pierced by a sword, tiger head, pearl-studded number 25, pineapple, cat, crystal-embellished panther, bee, eye and owl head – can be used to take your taste for customisation to the next level. There are over 100 patch combinations, to be precise. What’s more: There are high-top variations of the sneakers available too.
