Metallic Motifs: Gucci Pre-Fall 2016 Sneakers

The Ace Sneaker, Gucci’s famous tennis shoe, comes under the creative expertise of Alessandro Michele this Pre-Fall 2016 – being set up with the ornate adornment that the fashion house (and especially Michele) has been well known for. These sneakers have all the familiar motifs: bees, hares, fish, stars, and thunderbolts etc… along with laminated snakeskin on the heel. While there’s a basic white version, there’s also a whole host of striking colors and sheens to pique the interest of those who want to stand out with a special kind of individuality, with special materials split between the male and female version. These decorations mark out the sneakers as pure desire-stoking collector’s editions.
