Listen up! Lyst is back at it again, releasing the tell-all on what’s hot for the season.
As Q4 2023 — a Corporate-Speak way of categorising the October to December window — wraps, Lyst returns with its quarterly index. Ranking fashion’s favourite brands and products has never been as needed as now: especially since every brand seems to be incessantly doling out seasonal frontrunners and celebrity-backed campaigns.
Versace, for one, utilised its partnership with K-Pop’s Hyunjin for a holiday campaign; while Gucci debuted its less-festive version with actors Xiao Zhan and Paul Mescal. The tell-all for last season is pretty consistent, though. Brands in the top ten spots merely shuffled themselves around, with Bottega Veneta holding onto its prime position at fourth place and Saint Laurent maintaining its sixth place rank. The ranking also reflected new entrants in the likes of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s The Row and winter-staple Uggs. Well deserved, when you consider the former’s hero Margaux bag’s position as the most coveted product of the season — after all, it has been consistently lauded the “new-generation Birkin”.
Unsurprisingly, Miuccia’s on a roll! Clinching the top two positions are sister labels Prada and Miu Miu, each in part thanks to its very many activations — the former took PradaSphere II international, hosting friends like Thanaerng in Shanghai, and launched its holiday campaign with Kim Tae-Ri, Louis Patridge and more. Miu Miu on the other hand, seemed to have capitalised on the girlhood-influenced coquette wave that took over most algorithms last year. With its girlish offerings that still maintained a Miuccia-signature refinement, it is no wonder that both houses also had offerings within the top ten of the ranking’s product division. Below, discover all of fashion’s favourites for the previous quarter, ranked.
