#ManCrushMonday — Santa Slips On a Weirder and Wilder Hoodie
The particular hoodie Santa is wearing? It’s called the Saint Laurent Cardigan Croise hoodie.

When did we stop wearing hoodies and to be exacting, when did we decide that they become the fashion token wear of frat boys and university burnouts? Well, we think it’s because hoodies can be quite terrible to wear in our climate. They’re usually made of a heavy knit and once you slip them on, they become annoying to remove. Put them on bare skin and you end up wearing a personal heater for hours. Take them off and you end up messing up your hair or rubbing your makeup off.

However, some hoodies are better than others because they allow you to become public-facing. They still do what a good one does — cozies you up, protects your head from the rain, and turns a lounge session to a full-up 10 — but their genius is in how they are designed. And Santa knows what’s good with his Saint Laurent version.

It is a toss-up between a cardigan and a hoodie (cardihoo? hoodigan?) that allows you to shed it off with a four-button closure, it comes with ribbed cuffs for a snug fit and most importantly, its eclectic print means you’re never going to find another person wearing it. That is unless they’re wearing the same Saint Laurent one.
