Six Bronzers and Three Best Ways For A Natural Glow

Lately, a makeup movement that is seeing a new light would be simply put, a bronzer. Not to be confused with the matte versions from the ‘80s that surprisingly, held their weight through to the contouring craze of the mid-noughties, the glowy bronzer mimics the finishing of the base makeup of the now: a finish mimicking the skin’s natural luminosity with a formula that ignores the previous warning signs of how it should be used. Now, use without caution to ride the wave if one is seeking a stimulated flush.

While a product’s formula (creams are often recommended for a more natural finish) is often cited as crucial, a good old powder still makes it possible to extend one’s vacation into the everyday. He just needs to make sure of three rules to make a clean break. The first is to pick a bronzer with the right undertone (medium to tan-skinned men should use products that have grey-brown or golden undertones whereas deeper-skinned ones should seek warmer-hued shades) and the second, would be to do a swipe test on one’s arm. The most natural-looking glowy bronzers usually contain no big traces of glitter or little flecks of shimmer in them but instead, provide a subtle glow when one rotates his arm under sunlight.

The third, and one that the Men’s Folio team often looks out for, is a product that also has hydrating skincare benefits as they usually give a more seamless glow.
