The Gentleman’s Club Of Fragrances
A new range of men’s only gentleman scents proves that there can be more finesse than fight when it comes to a fragrance.

For all of its perceived bare-chested machismo and machiavellianism, the term “men’s only” can be politically correct in 2022 only if one thinks of this gentleman’s club as what it is in today’s time. It is a place that welcomes those who are in the know akin to Celine’s Black Tie’s sharpness and elegance reminiscent of Hedi Slimane’s suits and with open arm seven to the fairer sex with the creamy musk and woods of Narciso Rodriguez For Him Bleu Noir.

Sans the need for nobility (or as they say snobbery) and eschewing the eccentricities of modern living (also known as unpronounceable ingredients), the 2022 gentleman’s club of fragrances taps into the classic ingredients of what makes a strong brew of sorts.

The Gentleman’s Club Of Fragrances
Leather notes that echo the plushness of a chesterfield armchair, smoky woods that mimic the bookshelf on which Baudelaire and Ekman are shelved, tendrils of smoke that waft from burning cigars, and the booze and dried fruits of which the gentlemen and women imbibe and quaff down are familiar to (Burberry’s Windsor Tonic smells refreshingly like a Gin & Tonic while Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Reserve Privée literally has whisky notes within) of which the gentlemen and gentlewomen imbibe and quaff down.

As for the rules of this particular club, one can set them on their own. The limit is just his budget and imagination and Ralph Lauren’s Ralph Club is a fantastic place to start, an ambergris and blue scent for all seasons.
