For Fall/Winter 2017, Giorgio Armani has released a series of compelling portraits that quietly embody the brand’s elegance. The monochromatic shots, reminiscent of the Italian fashion house’s iconic campaigns of the 80s and the 90s, were lensed by Dutch photographer Annemarieke van Drimmelen. With a play on light and a sharp eye for subtleties, van Drimmelen captured models Aleksandar Rusic, Wouter Peelen and Hao Yun Xiang in an introspective mood, revealing their inner individuality and underlying emotions.
The campaign is a perfect reflection of Armani’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, which was composed of relaxed silhouettes and fuss-free shapes and lines.
