We don’t know about you but we love how some luxury houses go the extra mile in showcasing their runway looks. Fendi’s newest fashion reel captures the best of the Men’s Fall 2013 collection (inspired by the big chill and adversities of outdoor life) in “Neverwinter Tale”.
The film sees the protagonist wandering through the Artic, while being battled by fog, snowstorms and relentless downpours. All in slow motion, the elements finally relent, freeing him from the grasps of Mother Nature. Such a technique allows the camera to highlight the plush textures and coarse surfaces against organic and icy colours.
“Neverwinter tale is a simple yet incisive film that further underlines the collection’s idea of big chill while spotlighting its cuts, silhouettes, details and fabrics. The perfect balance between the images, the slow-motion, the music and the dramatic lighting were studied to keep the viewer intrigued,” says Silvia Venturini Fendi.
