Fendi’s Fall Winter 2022 Peekaboo Capsule plays on the iconic Selleria macro stitching with a celebration of key Peekaboo ISeeU renditions in multiple sizes and leathers.
The Peekaboo Capsule, an iconic ode to fun by Fendi, is refreshed for the Fall Winter 2022 season with a compilation of the most memorable declinations of the Peekaboo ISeeU, featuring bags in exotics or exquisite leathers that pronounces the recognisable Selleria macro stitches.
If you are unfamiliar with why it is named so, the Peekaboo is named after the children’s game and gets its soubriquet from the bag’s half-and-half construction; a rigid divider in the middle creates a front flap that can be pushed down to reveal the artistry inside, celebrating the appreciation of craftsmanship in a more whole manner.
Originally designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 2009 as the essential bag for women, the Peekaboo has also become a staple piece in the modern man’s wardrobe or bag collection. Acquiring macro sizes or boxier frames that resemble those of a briefcase (like that of the new large, structured shopper Peekaboo ISeeU Forty8), masculine versions of the Peekaboo are now present in countless Fendi collections.
This season’s Peekaboo ISeeU Medium and Mini for men are dressed in an asphalt and camel-coloured Cuoio Romano leather, embellished by the O’Lock logo adjustable shoulder Strap You straps. These classic fall colours enhance the intentional subtlety of the Selleria macro stitching, making for the characteristic addition of exotics handles a cherry on top for the amalgamation of the Peekaboo’s most memorable reinventions.
Complementing these bags are a selection of knitted cashmere accessories that delight the palette of the season with pastel tones of grey, mint green and beige. Hats, scarves and earmuffs are covered in an all over FF logo, while cashmere objects like maxi shoppers, pouches, plaids and pillows continue the story in the home décor.
