Fendi has had quite a stable lineage of creative successors, from the Fendi family itself to Karl Lagerfield, and Kim Jones maintaining the Italian house’s niche in handbag making and innovative material use. The iconic double F logo, penned by Karl Lagerfield in less than five seconds, has also survived many trends and creative upheavals through the years and still appears in classic tobacco and black on the latest runway shows and on bags and other accessories.
One unexpected accessory to fashion the FF logo is the Fendi shoe care kit, which comes in a cylindrical case coated in a black and grey iteration of the pattern. Trimmed with calf leather and topped off with Palladium-finish metalware, this fancy kit contains two wooden brushes, a metal shoe horn and a black cloth also embroidered with a monogram.
As far as innovative luxury goes, this is one such display. You don’t even need to be afraid of carrying this around to keep your dress shoes polished no matter the time of the day but it’s also small enough to fit in most work bags with its pencil case-like shape. For all you know, this might turn out to be that interesting miscellaneous gift for that businessman friend or someone who just likes to don formalwear often.
