Eight Fresh Fashion Faces Offer a Glimpse Into Generational Cool

Eight fresh fashion faces on the rise offer a glimpse into this generation’s idea of cool — laid-back, wholly individual, and unafraid of singularity. This is now.

(From left to right) Noel Hein, Eng Ke Qing, May Myatnoe and Srri Ramm are decked entirely out in looks from the Celine: a fresh to death range of wool and leather pieces that match the verve of these equally fresh fashion faces.

Great on women but even swervier on men, Serena Jane cuts a BCBG silhouette in a Celine wool jacket, jeans, and a metal and crystal-embellished necklace.

From left to right, these three fresh fashion faces — Noel Hein, Eng Ke Qing, and Srri Ramm — flex the three different tropes of the Celine customer: the night reveller (a hoodie pairs surprisingly well with a suit) , TikTok-baddy (the Trapeze leather shoulder bag takes centre stage), and the bourgeois bohemian (the Celine wool cable-knit sweater is the coziest aquisition of the season).

The second set of fresh fashion faces includes Diya Prabhakar, Kaine Neo, Serena Jane, and Kenji Tay who flex a different set of Celine fits: something spangly, Y2K inspired, and fresh to death. The latter, a reference to the Frame leather crossbody bag slung on Tay.

Making a pit stop back home, Diya cozies up in a sequin-embellished sweater, jeans, and a leather belt.

Like the models themselves, the Celine looks they are shot in are equally diverse. They are big on ideas (Slimane is a genius at remixing everyday items) and small in terms of its pleasing proportions: the Mini Triomphe leather crossbody bag is the season’s twee piece.

Americana classics meet French bourgeoise — Kenji Tay, May Myatnoe, and Kaine Neo strike sprightly silhouettes in Celine classics like the varsity jacket, cowboy boots, prep-school loafers, and knit sweaters.

It’s never a Celine shoot if something spangly and shiny isn’t shot: Srri Ramm makes micro-movements in a vinyl streamers and cotton sweater with its glimmer subtly dialed down by a pair of jeans.
