The Summit 3 measures 42mm like the Summit 2, but instead sports a hand-crafted and light-weight titanium case. Featuring a fluted crown embellished with the Montblanc logo, two traditional pump-style pushers, and a scratch-resistant sapphire display crystal, the office and active-friendly watch comes in a three elevated looks, each inclusive of a classy leather strap option and a sportier rubber version.
The available combinations include a Titanium Grey case with black calf and blue rubber straps; a Titanium Black case with black-on-black calf and rubber straps; a Titanium Bicolour case that pairs the Montblanc Extreme 3.0 British green calf leather strap with black rubber.
If these options aren’t enough to express your personality, the customisable watch face will; the collection contains watch faces that celebrate Montblanc’s traditional watchmaking heritage, including those of the Geosphere, Bohème or 1858 watch series. More modern designs that combine beauty and technology are also available, giving you easy access to your daily progress of health goals with set widgets for you to check them whenever, wherever.
The Summit 3 has an entire health suite after all, which helps the owner track steps, monitor sleep, and measure the amount of blood oxygen they have at any point in time. The modern faces just provide a smoother experience of the watch’s active services. The accompanying fitness app has even evolved to offer a variety of workouts that can be tracked to maximise their impact on the body over time.
Powered by the latest Wear OS, owners can take full advantage of apps like Google Maps, Google Pay and Google Play at the touch of the 1.3 inch full-circle AMOLED digital screen. The watch also offers full smartphone integration, Bluetooth connectivity, 8GB of onboard storage and improved battery life than the Summit 2.
Say what you might about the price of the Montblanc Summit 3, but it is significantly less expensive than even the most affordable of its mechanical siblings, while offering the same elegant look, and a degree of functionality that rivals that of a smartphone.
