Sportswear meets luxury fashion; Gucci and adidas reflect the unconventional approach toward luxury fashion in a chain of pop-ups around the globe with a pit-stop in Singapore.
The medley of sartorial traditions in tailoring with streetwear performance codes anticipates the emergence of the adidas x Gucci collaboration. The collection saw sport-inspired pieces with Gucci’s spin on retro aesthetics. As an homage to the heritage of both brands encoded in trio lines, a fixation on stripes is conspicuously displayed across the ready-to-wear collection and accessories, including Gucci’s own take on the highly sought-after adidas Gazelle sneaker.
After the alliance showed in Milan back in February, Gucci inaugurates a renewed series of ephemeral pop-ups dedicated to the adidas x Gucci collection. The alluring and immersive space provides a rejuvenating shopping experience to connect and engage with customers globally.
Debuting at Design Orchard, Singapore, you can expect the extensive collection and vintage-inspired furniture illuminating the pop-up. As an ode to the kaleidoscopic aesthetics of the collection, the space is embellished with pointed arches coated in the zestful retro prints fusing the GG monogram and Trefoil emblem — as a representation of the emblematic synergy of the two Houses, while amplifying the legacy of each.
