Dance sensation Lil Buck is a familiar name in the fashion world – a given, since the founder of jookin has been casted in numerous editorials. This time, instead of being thrown into the spotlight, Lil Buck crosses over to the back end of things by designing his first ever collaborative collection with Versace. For apparel, the capsule line features street style staples like muscle tanks and long T-shirts with a Pegasus emblem in black and white, though the real standout are the sneakers. The structured, chunky high-tops come in black and grey editions, with monochromatic detailing across the Velcro fastener and laces for a dash of flair. The shoes are also made with a retroreflector material, allowing the shoes to glow when light hits. “It’s a nice subtle sneaker, and I made an all-black version too, because I always like dancing in black shoes, but at the same time I want people to see me when I’m performing,” explains Lil Buck.
