Commercial Director of Côte&Ciel Ms Monica Salmaso, from the Parisian Headquarter, spoke about the brand, the design process, and the materials used for the respective styles. As a special treat, invited guests caught the first glimpse of a video filmed in Singapore featuring our local familiar faces in their respective creative fields. More contemporary accessories such as the zippered sleeves, phone pouches, and wallets were also introduced.
A collective video was also shown at the opening. Filmed in Singapore and edited at the Parisian Headquarter, it showcased eight individuals in their respective talents and artistry against the upbeat music from DJ Koflow. Guests included MTV VJ Alan Wong, Yong (creative director of Somewhere Else), Edwin Tan (creative director of Bravo Company), Darren Lee (founder of Shentonista.sg), illustrator and blogger Valerie Wang, designer and ceramist Ivan Lee, and Celeste Chong (co-founder of The Butter Factory).
The pop-up store will continue its run till 15 February 2014.
