Rosé, Jay Chou and Lewis Hamilton Prove RIMOWA’s Icons Are Never Still

RIMOWA wields its special bonds with global celebrities Rosé, Jay Chou and Lewis Hamilton for its fifth installment of the Never Still campaign.

By Ammar Hakeem

RIMOWA brings its Never Still campaign is back for its fifth chapter, celebrating intentional travel, personal development, and the pursuit of progress. The renowned German luxury travel maison — known for its timeless aluminium-grooved luggages and still-expanding repertoire of colourful cousins — has gathered three global icons Rosé, Jay Chou and Lewis Hamilton to show-and-tell what it means to live a life well-travelled: with each of their personal luggages.

From Rosé’s album tribute, Chou’s tennis sticker to Hamilton’s bulldog Roscoe, creative agency Anomaly spotlights how one’s travel artefacts can display the emotional texture of movement with tender, affective, cinematic storytelling. With films directed by Daniel Wolfe and Elliott Power, as well as stills lensed by Johnny Dufort with a special dynamic and unguarded allure, scroll below to see how every dent, sticker and scuff on RIMOWA’s craftsmanship-first travel carriers comes accompanied with a line (or two) from their famous owners. Each paints together a vivid picture of the unapologetic ways each jet-setter walks and inhabits this Earth.

Rosé

“Every journey I take leaves a lasting impact. Travelling the world only makes me realise just how much more there is to explore.”

Jay Chou

“Every journey helps me see the world in a new way. It’s a chance to shape who I am and what I create. That’s why I keep going, I know I’ll come back a little wiser.”

Lewis Hamilton

“It’s a real privilege to be able to travel and to see different places. You learn so much about yourself. It’s very much about reinventing, taking yourself out of comfortable positions, and challenging yourself. Just always moving forward, one foot in front of the other.”
