Men’s Folio, Singapore’s pioneering men’s fashion publication, celebrated its 27th anniversary in visionary style with a party themed “Future Perfect” at the New Bahru Hall. The celebration honoured the Men’s Folio’s legacy and ambitious future, spotlighting the connections that drive Singapore’s style and media landscape forward.
The New Bahru Hall, a part of the former Nan Chiau High School, was transformed into a dynamic and immersive space for the event. The vibrant neon lighting and industrial design elements created a striking visual, while the radiant beams of light from the mainstage set a lively atmosphere for the night. An oversized Men’s Folio centrepiece, illuminated with sleek white and blue lights, provided the perfect backdrop for photos, adding to the immersive experience.
Meanwhile, the Auchentoshan whisky bar, with its orange ambient lighting and clean, modular structures, created an edgy, sci-fi-inspired lounge area where guests could relax and enjoy their premium cocktails. Montblanc Fragrance presented their latest concoction, the Montblanc Legend Blue, at a similarly themed booth amongst its other perennial favourites.
True to its forward-looking spirit, the occasion saw the attendance of over 450 guests — clients, working partners, regional and local celebrities, Singapore’s own tastemakers and Men’s Folio Malaysia team and representatives from Men’s Folio Vietnam and Thailand— for an unforgettable evening. As soon as doors opened, guests started arriving by the numbers, with snaking queues forming on more than one occasion to enter the venue space.
It was a sight to behold as the night’s special guests, Thailand’s Mew Suppasit and James Reid and Issa Pressman, made a grand entrance to the party venue in style thanks to sponsors Porsche. Mew was chauffeured in the captivating Provence-coloured Porsche Taycan J1II while James and Issa glided in with the Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo in Dolomite Silver Metallic.
The evening began in proper fashion after the celebrities settled in, with the charismatic host Omar Kenobi setting the tone for evening. High-energy DJ sets from Shye, Matty Judah, DJ Sunat, and GodKorine, transformed the venue into a futuristic, high-octane celebration while Auchentoshan kept spirits jolly with the Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt whisky-based cocktail.
