The meaning of “home” has long been underestimated and often reduced to a straightforward idea: a physical place, a specific location that grounds us. But at Men’s Folio, we believe home is more than that. It’s a feeling — one that transcends geography and replaces location with belonging. Because ultimately, it’s the people who fill a space that make it a home.
This August, we shift our focus in search of that very feeling. A vibe, if you will, of stories that stretch beyond the borders we often find ourselves confined to. It begins with a fashion editorial exploring the neighbouring ties between Singapore and Malaysia: two places where, despite the distance, the people remain deeply connected in spirit and style.
Featuring 17 characters in their chosen third spaces, the story unfolds first at a house party in Malaysia, then shifts to a late-night bowling alley hangout in Singapore in an epilogue on individual style.
