The Best High Ball Recipe is Surprisingly Simple
The Chivas guide to the best high ball recipe one can drink is like a gaming strategy manual — straightforward.

For anyone who had the pleasure of experiencing the joys of playing a video game in the early 1990s — no hand-holding by the developers, soundtracks scored by the greats and the sweet ASMR sound of a game disc clicking into position — he would remember consulting something called a strategy guide. More specifically, it was an instruction book that detailed the lesser-known mechanics of a game like a checklist of collectible items or an explanation of puzzles.

If Chivas 12 was a game, it would not necessarily need a guide. It is easy to manoeuvre around when one gets the hang of its notes (RPG fans will complete the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 with ease), a creamy blend of vanilla custard, aniseed, lemon curd and butter toffee that will convince even the non-believers. It is even going to instantly win one over when he swings a hit of its lingering notes of cereal sweetness and spicy tail (the whisky will allow one to #combosmash just like in Spider-Man). The Chivas 12 is so open to one’s interpretation in what it can do that it would be simpler to drop the plot and go straight to the ending of this story.

Here, three easy-to-make cocktails (no need for rage quitting) recommended by the people at Chivas. However, the true fun is in the experimentation and even noobs are encouraged to try.

Pictured above: Chivas High Ball Original Recipe: All one needs is 40ml Chivas 12 that can be poured into a glass, then filled with ice and soda. The orange slice is optional as a garnish but it does make for a fun experience if one is AFK (away from keyboard).

Chivas Elderflower HiBall Recipe: Replace the rose syrup with an elderflower one and add a mint sprig. Congrats, one is part of the Chivas clan now.
