Lighting is an essential, if not the most crucial, ingredient to include when you’re decorating a room. It is no afterthought — it can completely transform a space by lifting moods, inspiring productivity, enlivening daily routines as well as motivating those who are illuminated by it.
But as with any piece of home decor, it also must be considered for its looks when it is not lit; its mere presence can also make or break the atmosphere of the room just by being there. If you are interested in collecting some designer light-bringers into your house, here are some dream lamps that the Men’s Folio team wants to get you started on this journey.

It looks elegant and feels at home whether as a bedside table lamp or on a study table. Even though my home is still delayed, it simply means more time to curate and save up on the interior decors.

Fun fact: I’ve been hoarding pieces of furniture for my future abode to the point where my mom is threatening to dump everything out into our yard for our neighbours to have at them. There’s something about big standing lamps that get me real excited, especially if there are industrial elements involved. I also love that this is the solution to providing a ceiling lamp that would not require drilling a hole in the ceiling.
