The KILIAN PARIS and InterContinental Singapore collab runs till 28th February 2022.

KILIAN PARIS’s latest two fragrancesthe sweet and heady Apple Brandy On the Rocks and the green, green, green Absinthe-like L’Heure Verte — quite literally, smell like alcohol. In short and in our words, perhaps because Kilian Hennessy himself is a man of grandeur and one who is sensuously sybaritic (bare sun-kissed skin, casual trips to the desert and airplane shots on the ‘gram, folks).

If you want us to be less facetious, it’s really because Hennessy himself is targeting a niche section of the sometimes not-so-niche-anymore fragrance market: fragrances that smell like alcohol which in short, can and sometimes smells like success.

A refresher from the KILIAN PARIS and InterContinental Singapore cocktail menu: a Gin&Tonic reminiscent of the notes from Roses On Ice.

What will you swig though at the InterContinental Singapore? Four cocktails (they will only set you back $18) inspired by KILIAN PARIS’s olfactory family The Liquors and most importantly, a tapas menu to line your stomach: Torched Scallops with citrus and chive vinaigrette, fish skin and marinated roe; Potato Churros with Crab Salad including chili crab aioli and spring onions; and Duck Rillettes with sourdough and vegetable batons with each priced at $15.

Is the pairing of a cocktail and tapas dish priced at $33 worth it? Of course, you’re dining at the famed lobby lounge. Should you be excited that you’ll receive a fragrance sample from The Liquors collection with each cocktail drank? We suggest having all four.
