  • By Men's Folio

Stainless steel gives a timepiece that arresting punch it needs to get people’s attention. From Bell & Ross’s BR05 Chrono Blue Steel to Piaget’s Polo Skeleton, check out these new stainless steel watches to toughen up any fit.

BR05 Chrono Blue Steel New Stainless Steel Watches

The latest member of the Bell & Ross BR05 collection (it’s called the BR05 Chrono Blue Steel) is now equipped with a chronograph movement. The watch has grown from 40mm of the original BR05 to 42mm for the chronograph version. Every flat surface of the watch is satin-brushed while the bevels are polished. The pushers are integrated into the crown guard in a thoughtful manner and form one fluid line, which improves its wearability.

Cartier Santos de Cartier newest stainless steel watches
The classiest of these new stainless steel watches, the Cartier Santos de Cartier is based on the iconic Santos watch itself:  a watch born in 1904 as the first true wristwatch on the market. While this updated model maintains the iconic square-shaped with eight screws on the bezel, the bracelet is better integrated and the dial adds a touch of relevancy in gradient blue featuring a black date disc.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date

Widely appreciated by intrepid adventurers of the ocean depths, the Polaris Mariner Date watch has established itself as a sports model with outstanding watchmaking features. A true reinterpretation of the Memovox Polaris from 1968, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date sets a new benchmark in functions and design.

Piaget Polo Skeleton watch new stainless steel watches
The Piaget Polo Skeleton watch is visible through both sides, showing off the 2.4mm automatic skeleton 1200S1 Calibre. The sportiest of this batch of new stainless steel watches pulsates with vibrant energy thanks to a polished and satin-brushed steel bracelet that perfectly complements the ultra-thin curved case.

IWC Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph new stainless steel watches
Introducing the 3rd generation of the IWC Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph (Ref. 3907). Featuring a 44mm case this nautical sports chronograph combines timeless elegance with high robustness and a water resistance of 60 metres and a power reserve of 68 hours.

For A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus, this is the first time that an integrated metal bracelet has been paired with a Lange watch. The case is fitted with a screw-down crown and an exhibition case-back and is depth-rated to 120 meters, another first for Lange. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces extends to the lugs and the integrated bracelet — making this not just a member of these new stainless steel watches but one of the toughest.
