Lawrence Wong's Skincare Routine Is Surprisingly Easy
These are the obvious things about sheet masks: they’ll make you look like a Miyazaki ghost, they’re mostly packed with good old hydrators and they’re as democratic as a grilled cheese sandwich. But according to Lawrence Wong’s skincare routine, the humble floppy piece of fabric can be literally made better.

Using the world’s only regenerated nano filament — less floppiness, more adherence —, each mask from Grail (oh yeah, Wong is the brains behind it), is packed with active botanicals and organic & eco-certified ingredients. Japanese sea green caviar halts the hands of time, Icelandic chamomile soothes redness and copper tripeptide promotes the production of collagen. And we’re just listing three of the ingredients to the mask’s secret sauce.

Here, we delve into Lawrence Wong’s skincare routine: you’d be surprised how easy it is.

Guerlain Abeille Royale Cleansing Oil: This is one of the most luxurious and effective cleansing oils I’ve used. It is also anti-pollution and anti-irritation.

Senka Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam: This cleansing foam is very affordable and does its job very well without stripping your skin of moisture.

GRAIL Do-it-All Mask: This is a must for me every night as it immediately hydrates, soothes and heals my skin. In fact, if I am feeling lazy, this is the only step I’ll do, and then head straight to bed. You will wake up with perfectly hydrated, calm and bright skin the next morning.

If I didn’t have sufficient sleep due to filming and make up doesn’t adhere well to my tired skin, I’ll use this before the make-up artist does my make up.

Jorubi Aloe Vera Gel: This is my all-rounder moisturiser during the day time as it’s lightweight and non-sticky. I really dislike moisturisers that are thick and sticky, especially if I am in Singapore, as our weather is hot and humid.

Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil: I don’t use this every day. I listen to my skin and only use this if I need an extra boost or if I am residing in a harsh winter climate, like China (where I’m based mostly). A little goes a long way: just two or three drops.

Guerlain Abeille Royale Double R Serum: I will use this at night after GRAIL’s Do-it-All mask. It acts like a night time moisturiser for me yet does more than what an ordinary moisturiser would do.

Shiseido Anessa Sunblock: I will never leave home without applying sunblock. This one is lightweight and doesn’t leave a white cast. In fact, I’ve been using this for years even before it was popular and was only available in Japan.
