On 2 February, Fendi celebrated their new store opening at the heart of Singapore’s shopping distract, ION Orchard. Boasting a state-of-the-art interior with design aimed to elevate a shopper’s experience — harking back to the Italian label’s continuous research of highest standards in store design, deep heritage and obsession for details. The ION Orchard shop features both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, furs and accessories.
Despite its pompous atmosphere, sophistication was delivered with dazzling showcases, exhibiting collectible design pieces and furniture from historic masters and cutting edge young talents.
Accompanying the store launch, Fendi installed a pop-up kiosk that resembles a luxurious Roman magazine newsstand. The interactive space allow guests to shop and also personalise their own Fendi postcards for free. The postcards are embellished with Sue Tilley’s quirky illustrations that were synonymous with Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Do check out this first of its Fendi-kind kiosk before it moves to the next location on 18 February.
Invited media guests included Singapore heartthrobs Desmond Tan, Nathan Hartono, Benjamin Kheng and Jonathan Chua from The Sam Willows. Even international celebrities Al-Yahya and Awal Ashaari from Malaysia, and Rasri Balenciaga and Patsarakorn Chirathivat from Thailand flew in to join in this celebratory occasion.
