If Alessandro Michele’s final bow at Gucci men’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection was not an affirmation of his new position as creative director, an official announcement from the Italian luxury powerhouse earlier today confirms it.

The world got a first taste of Michele’s aesthetic at the brand’s latest menswear showing, as he made runway magic happen in a matter of days following Frida Giannini’s abrupt departure. His contemporary vision for the brand has already earned the nods of fashion front rowers and has left us craving for more. We can hardly wait to witness Michele’s runway genius at his official debut at the women’s fall/winter 2015 showcase.
