As a prelude to the Salon International De La Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) 2015 in January, Ralph Lauren introduces the Automotive Chronograph. Inspired by Ralph Lauren’s legendary 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupé, the timepiece embodies the height of beauty and legibility.
Packed with serious style, the time instrument is detailed with a wood dial ring, matte black details, and faded luminous markers. Ralph Lauren partnered with Jaeger-LeCoultre to create a self-winding caliber RL751A/1 movement which runs in 39 jewels, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a 65-hour power reserve. The Côtes de Genève and perlage movement finishing is a special decoration exclusive to Ralph Lauren.
