#ObjectsOfDesire — the Bottega Veneta Selection of Gaetano Pesce’s Come Stai? Chairs
A sculptural resin floor, 400 resin chairs, and a whole lot of colour with Gaetano Pesce’s Come Stai? chairs.

In one fell swoop just a few months ago, Matthieu Blazy completely rejigged what it meant to be a Bottega Veneta man. It became a little bit funkier, elevated in a way that only those of the most cult-like and chic could comprehend and next, sophisticated enough without alienating what his predecessors hunt for when it comes to hype.

However, while the fashion-addled were looking for the next big thing (the answer is the Kalimero bucket bag), one of the purest forms of creativity within the show was the set design itself by Italian architect Gaetano Pesce; a commission by Blazy himself to Pesce who created 400 original chairs for attendees to take a seat during the show.

Titled Come Stai? and already being available for sale on Bottega Veneta’s site, the chairs are also available for purchase from 30 November to fourth December in the Miami Design district with a live discussion on 30 November between Pesce himself and curatorial director Maria Cristina Didero.

For those who won’t be there, Come Stai? is also the name of a book commissioned by Bottega Veneta with Gaetano Pesce and Matthieu Blazy. Documenting the project’s origins and place in Pesce’s world, each book’s cover design reflects one of the chairs itself.

While we’re sitting this out due to geographical and logistical difficulties, some of the Come Stai? chairs are still available for purchase in case you’re worried about sitting out on it.
