Zigazig ah — the Saint Laurent boots worn by Romeo Beckham are called the Ziggy Zipped.

With every menswear campaign that Anthony Vaccarello has directed for Saint Laurent, there’s a nod to the past and the future. The past is where he riffs off the House’s codes and Yves Saint Laurent’s intentions — the rock&roll spirit, the nightwear-turned-daywear, and the gender-bending fantasy that resonated back in 1966 with Le Smoking and echoes back to great effect even in 2022.

The future, however, is how he contextualises the culture of fashioning today. What is his can be hers and vice-versa — nothing is seemingly off-limits in one’s pursuit of presenting bcbg, bon chic bon genre. A form of calculated cool if you will. The Saint Laurent Fall 2022 campaign starring Romeo Beckham and Euphoria star Dominic Fike completely levels the playing field for any and all sexes. It is in short, an interchangeable wardrobe where putting a label on something is passé.

Filmed by Gray Sorrenti, Romeo Beckham flexes the key items from the Saint Laurent Fall 2022 campaign — a rhinestone pearl necklace, comically bug eyed glasses, a fur jacket, and a chrome manicure.

Dominic Fike gets his turn in the limelight proving that something-sheer can be Fall’s biggest style swerve.

While the pieces of the Saint Laurent Fall 2022 campaign are now shoppable online and in stores, take some time before purchasing to think of each piece’s mileage. Its shortest starts at how often you will wear it (hint: very often) and its furthest stretches to if a female friend, sibling or family member will cop it from you.
