Qeelin has always taken pride in celebrating the aesthetics and rich lore of Orientalism, its creations always reflective of the harmony and balance in Oriental philosophy. For the Chinese brand’s 2025 fine jewellery collection, the poetic gaze is focused on the enchanting Chinese gardens from the Qin and Han dynasties and its iconic motifs and creatures; think butterflies, goldfish, the dragon and phoenix, the panda, the auspicious lion dance and of course, the wulu or gourd.

Presented for the first time at the TRX boutique in Kuala Lumpur, the Miracle Garden fine jewellery collection celebrates the story of magic, beauty and grace inherent to the East, the combination of precious metals, stones, and excellent craftsmanship reaffirming Qeelin’s one-of-a-kind presence in the world of jewellery.

Wulu Fairy

The Qeelin Wulu Fairy fine jewellery collection takes inspiration from the celestial dancers of Dunhuang murals, their elegantly flowing silhouettes and sleeves brought to life through the gentle curves of the Wulu form. The lithe three-dimensional lines become ever more beguiling with the addition of yellow diamond centrepieces, which serve as the celestial souls of the question mark necklace, hoop earrings and ring — bringing power and dynamism to the array.

Wulu Shanshui

Drawing directly from the whimsical landscapes depicted in Chinese art, the Qeelin Wulu Shanshui fine jewellery collection uses open work techniques that showcase intricate gemstone layering to depict three necklace pendant tableaus, all expressed with 18k rose gold and diamonds. 

The first necklace showcases pine trees in marquise-cut emeralds and towering mountains, symbolising longevity and resilience. The second features ruby goldfish swimming through waves to represent abundance and prosperity. The third and last shows magpies in pink sapphires flying high above clouds, also accented with pink sapphires that represent love and happiness.

Bamboo

Bamboo’s symbolic elegance and timelessness comes from its standing as a longtime, spiritual muse for poets and artists of the East, it’s presence in Chinese courtyards a constant reminder of peace and resilience that is further explored by Qeelin in two series of works: one featuring the butterfly, and the other the panda. 

The butterfly, an emblem of romance and vitality, paints a dream-like reverie in a bamboo landscape. In the Bamboo Butterfly series, a marquise-cut emerald is fitted as its body and gradating green garnets and sapphires form its wings, fluttering about diamond-studded bamboo crafted in white gold. As for the Bamboo Bo Bo or panda series, the adorable and playful animal is pictured in a relaxed disposition in its home environment crafted in 18k white gold set with diamonds and emeralds, meticulously set with pavé techniques that integrate the diamonds between the bamboo’s articulated segments. It then embraces a horizontal Bo Bo, covered in white and black diamonds.

Qin Qin

In Eastern culture, goldfish represent wealth and abundance. Qeelin’s Qin Qin is crafted from either 18k yellow gold set with a gradation of orange and yellow sapphires, 18k rose gold adorned with a gradation of pink sapphires and rubies, or 18k rose gold set with diamonds, all set with a centre custom-made cabochon-cut rubellite highlighting the forehead.

The highlight of the Qin Qin pieces are their delicate openwork tail, inspired by Chinese paper cutting. Each goldfish’s tail is fully articulated thanks to an innovative three-dimensional craftsmanship, all to mimic the way it glides through water.

Xi Xi

The last highlight of the Qeelin Miracle Garden fine jewellery collection is the precious expression of the lion dance, a powerful totem of protection integral to Chinese tradition and culture. Also known for bringing peace and good fortune, the jewellery house has transformed the tale of courage, guardianship and celebration into three distinct creations.

The first is a symmetrical white gold pendant, adorned with diamonds, emeralds and rubies, which perfectly showcases Qeelin’s intricate craftsmanship — allowing the lion’s mouth to open and its body to sway as if it were actually performing. The second is a tessellation of rose gold and diamond hexagons accented with rubies below a lion’s head, which can be detached from the necklace and transformed into a brooch.
