The Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2022 Collection Casts Its Final Light
Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer ’22 collection reframes connections to social dress codes and boyhood. The late artistic director illustrated dialogue between high fashion and streetwear at length with a variety of silhouettes—from skirts and kilts to jump-shirts and tailored suits. As it goes with his final swan song for Louis Vuitton, “Virgil Was Here”.

Manuel of Now Models stands tall in a Louis Vuitton cotton tie-dye hoodie worn with a matching set of a jacquard wool jacket and wrap skirt. As for his choice of footwear and accessories to turn the tide, it’s the mesh and suede leather sneakers, leather wheel box bag and leather soft trunk bag.

On the left, Manuel checkmates in a Louis Vuitton Cotton poplin shirt and a wool belted jacket  with a leather mini soft trunk bag taking final centrepiece.

On the right, he casts a light in a Louis Vuitton Cotton stretch roll-neck jumper, wool silk jacquard jacket, denim jeans, leather shoes and acetate optical glasses.

A loving tribute to the lanterns that the late Virgil Abloh was so fond of: Manuel sets off his own in a Louis Vuitton Wool and leather varsity jacket, technical wool shorts and leather Sac Plat XS bag.

Manuel triple stacks the House’s icons: the leather Keepall 50B bag, leather box trunk bag and leather travel trunks while suiting up in a wool two-piece.
