Of superyachts, yachts and festivities: The Singapore Yacht Show

  • By Men's Folio

Asia’s premier yacht event, the Singapore Yacht Show, returns to Singapore this month with the most extravagant display of superyachts, boats and international brands yet. Set in the perfect setting of Sentosa Cove’s ONE°15 Marina Club, this is Asia’s biggest and most popular leisure marine and lifestyle event, playing host to an impressive range of world-class yachts, many of which are making their debut at the show.

The annual show is primed to awe as it welcomes its largest fleet to date, the 75.5-metre, Oceanco-built M/Y Anastasia, as well as the debut of the 69-metre M/Y Saluzi, the biggest charter yacht permanently based in Asia. Another show stopper is the sophisticated and sporty 51-metre M/Y Aldabra, presented by yacht charter and broker Fraser Yachts. Even though the superyachts underline the reputation of the show, smaller yachts further reinforce its robustness in variety, with both monohulls and multihulls on show from Princess Yachts SEA, Simpson Marine, Spirit Yachts and Wally.

With engaging social programmes to complement the activities in the pavilions and on the water, such as the official afterparty at W Hotel, this is an event not to be missed by those with a predilection for luxury and festivities.
