Then there’s Collina Strada, who has made it clear since its inception that they’ve always had the perfect know-how on creating genuinity. It’s all thanks to its unique disposition, where its conscience for the environment displayed through an all-is-welcome attitude has allowed it to remain as one of New York’s youngest perspectives — even after more than a decade in the field.
With an audience ranging between the young and old — either would confess they’ve had the label’s products in their SSENSE carts at least once — its SS24 showing on the first day of NYFW is a refreshing entanglement of the city’s knack for cold, deep and (sometimes) pretentious fashion offerings. Just take a look: real personalities in flamboyantly straightforward pieces accompanied with a girlish luxe that’s more accessible than ever. Also, who wouldn’t fall in love with a fashion show party finale?
