For Christmas this year, Dior presents The Atelier of Dreams, an installation that includes the largest Dior Enchanted Star in Asia and a Château de le Colle Noire pop-up in front of ION Orchard. Riffing off of Dior Beauty’s holiday collection of the same name, the display adds a sense of magic and festive nostalgia to the street — a welcome addition to what is a semblance of a winter wonderland.
Celebrating the House’s emblem, the Dior Enchanted Star — the House’s version of a Christmas tree — spans 15m high and is surrounded by a dazzling display of 20,000 over lightbulbs. A centrepiece in the heart of Singapore’s main shopping district, Mr Christian Dior’s lucky talisman flaunts a constellation of gold exclusively created by artist Pietro Ruffo, where animals, mythological creatures and an abundance of wild flora dance among stars.
The Dior Enchanted Star is flanked by a pop-up that was named after Mr Christian Dior’s home from the 1950s, where the flowers in residence inspired him to craft his signature fragrances. From a chandelier, immersive room and dining hall, visit the space to experience the joy of gifting with Dior Beauty and Fragrances.
In attendance was also an impressive array of stars from the region, including a stellar selection of celebrities from our very own sunny shores. Scroll on for the full posse at Dior’s The Atelier of Dreams, complete with stunning performances by Catriona Gray from the Philippines and Benjamin Kheng.
