Cannes Film Festival 2024: The Best Dressed

Deserving of the Palme d’Or and more.

By Vanessa Grace Ng

As Cannes Film Festival 2024 heads into full swing, recap its best red carpet moments here.

It’s that time of year again — hot off the trails of the 2024 Met Gala, the month of May continues its stylish streak. This time, the Asian celebrities have taken the French Riviera by stylish storm. Impeccably dressed and spectacularly bejewelled are the celebrities gracing the Cannes Film Festival 2024 red carpet. Already, the South of France has been illuminated by the region’s brightest stars. See for instance, Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong’s debut, which, along with their very many outfit changes (so far we’ve charted Ferragamo, Balenciaga, Bulgari and Chopard) caused quite a commotion. On the flip side, the South Korean entertainment scene has delivered fantastic returns in the likes of YoonA from SNSD and Lay Zhang (both in Qeelin, by the way!), alongside seasoned acts like Jung Hae-in and Han SoHee — all showing up in looks equally elegant and statement-making. And on the topic of bold statements, Men’s Folio nominates Rai Chadda’s Luar and Tasaki get-up for the most visually stunning.

As the world anticipates 2024’s wave of cinematic costuming and the celebration of film’s greats, see all the looks deserving of the Palme d’Or below.
