Burberry wants you to get up on your feet and dance like no one’s watching. In an ode to fashion and music’s longstanding love-affair, Burberry’s new Summer 2026 campaign explores the pivotal ways music has shaped and challenged culture. Infused with the UK’s vibrant music scene and the infectious spirit of live performances, this campaign is a party you don’t want to miss out on.
From the swinging 60s mod and hippie fashion, the 70s glam rock aesthetic, to the 90s grungy and nu metal styles, music’s influence on fashion each decade is undeniable. In recognition of this, Burberry’s Summer 2026 collection reflects the function of music and fashion as a universal expression of style, originality, and belonging. So if you’re the type of person who thinks they were born in the ‘wrong decade’ in terms of fashion or music, this one’s for you.
In this campaign by Daniel Lee, British model, actress, and swinging 60s icon Twiggy leads the talent ensemble alongside models and musicians Sonny Ashcroft, Filip Bryndza, Sora Choi, Albert Cocker, Ella Dalton, Shuqi Lan, Ahmed Richards, Raika Sales, and Maya Wigram. Styled in the Burberry Summer 2026 collection, the talent shows off the collection’s neat and narrow silhouettes that empowers the wearer to move, transform, and express themselves.
Known for their stylishly practical rainwear, Burberry’s new signature trenches the Summerside, Rayne and Isleworth echo an archival 1927 coat. In addition, the collection’s outerwear is available in new eye-catching styles — printed graphic trench coats, silk bomber jackets, and waxed cotton oversized parkas — to encapsulate the hazy feeling of a rain-glistened British summertime.
Furthermore, suede and leather coats appear in a variety of playful styles from faux lace, fringe, and snake print. It’s a visual feast of colour and texture that calls back to House codes and signature styles while also re-inventing older styles to modern tastes.
Beyond stunning coats, the collection also sees a return to streamlined and mod-ish tailoring as seen by the 60s inspired shift dresses and mini skirts. It’s throwbacks that don’t feel dated. Nostalgia with novelty. As quoted by Daniel Lee, ‘music pushes boundaries, blurs lines and defines the codes of fashion,’ and Burberry Summer 26 not only adds fun edge to any wardrobe — and a perfect companion to any music festival — it’s also a testament to the brilliance that arrives from the intersection of two of culture’s biggest pillars.
