The arrival of the Formula 1 Grand Prix beckons the return of Amber Lounge’s legendary post-race after-party, celebrating the need for speed with new bespoke services at a new venue, with a star-studded entertainment line-up.
What’s a high-spirited race-car event without a dazzling after-party to dance at after? With the glorious return of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore this year and following the sold-out success of Amber Lounge’s Monaco F1 weekend events in May this year, the ultra-luxe post-race event will be held over the F1 weekend on 1 and 2 October, within the iconic waterfront jewel of the Fullerton Heritage precinct, unveiling its grand new home at The Fullerton Bay Hotel.
The Amber Lounge has always been seen as the post-race home to Formula 1 drivers because it has been the setting for many key moments in F1 history, from hosting Fernando Alonso’s farewell festivities upon his retirement in 2018 to celebrating Nico Rosberg’s World Drivers’ Championship title win in 2016 at Amber Lounge in Abu Dhabi.
On top of flowing champagne and cocktails by award-winning bartenders, guests will also get to enjoy performances by big international artists. The Saturday night opens with a sizzling live performance by acclaimed DJ and electronic music producer, Oliver Heldens, a Dutch DJ who is dubbed the pioneer of future house and has got gigs at Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, EDC, and Lollapalooza in his books.
Then Sunday night sees Swedish singer-songwriter John Martin, best known for his collaborations with Swedish House Mafia, and the lead vocalist on their international super chart-topping hits Don’t You Worry Child and Save The World, performing alongside music partner Michel Zitron, renowned as a record producer and singer-songwriter.
The same night will also feature Fatman Scoop, an American rapper, DJ, promoter and radio personality famed for his powerful and raw voice. Having collaborated with the likes of Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Pitbull, Skrillex and the incomparable Whitney Houston, this act will be one that you definitely won’t want to miss.
Elevating the party luxe factor and experience, Amber Lounge is introducing a new exclusive suite concept to its table packages, namely the Noir Suite and Amber Suite. Each suite comprises semi-private architectural alcoves within the venue, offering prime views of performances and unlimited table service with flowing drinks of a setlist.
The most expensive suite, Noir Suite, is only offered once per night, the price tag of over S$100,000 is a testament to the bespoke service guests will be privy to. For this year’s Amber Lounge, guests will be delighted by bites and dishes by Meatsmith and Burnt Ends Bakery, purchasable throughout the evening along with Amber Lounge’s own custom labelled Kaluga hybrid caviar from Nomad Caviar.
Other partners for Amber Lounge this year include Paneco, Southeast Asia’s largest alcohol retailer and premium beer partner.
And that’s not all. Amber Lounge will also be offering exclusive by-invitation-only VIP yachting experiences that include private sunset cruises onboard a luxurious 80-feet Princess Yacht, in collaboration with its official luxury yacht partner Boat Lagoon Yachting.
