Nathan Hartono Curates a Disney+ Binge-Watch Playlist
He’s incredibly cheerful, is able to whistle in G major and to most, is a cult figure: some would think we’re talking bout Mickey Mouse but then again, we’re describing Nathan Hartono himself. Here, he curates his must-watch 2022 shows on Disney+.

Moon Knight – Stream it on Disney+ from 30 March

TLDR: the darker version of Freaky Friday where Stevan Grant — a normie who works as a gift-shop employee — has fever dreams about sharing a body with mercenary Marc Spector before realising he has to cope with dissociative identity order while fighting for his life. Also, the trailer uses “Day n Night” by Kid Cudi which is more than enough reason to spend 01:57 minutes on it.

Obi-Wan Kenobi – Stream it on Disney+ from 25 May

Nathan Hartono’s pick for Disney+’s 2022 releases proves that 1. Obi-Wan is really good at taking his hood on and off, 2. that Ewan McGregor was the best part of the prequel trilogy and 3. You should rewatch Clone Wars before watching this.

She-Hulk – Coming soon

An ordinary lawyer who happens to specialise in superhuman-oriented legal cases happens to smash villains and the patriachy as a side gig. Also, a theory: Jen is able to change at will because she has no mental health issues unlike Bruce who really, is an entire magazine containing traumatic issues.

Grid – Stream it on Disney+ now

Nathan Hartono’s pick that’s streaming on Disney+ now basically involves the cast of “Sweet Home” turning into monsters. Jokes aside, a being called “the Ghost” creates a “Grid” to save humankind from an impending solar wind crisis. We’ll let the 02:30 trailer explain the plot for itself.

Rookie Cops – Stream it on Disney+ now

We’ve already explained the plot and even got Kang Daniel to explain his role so just click here, folks.

Watch 24 – Stream all nine seasons on Disney+

24 involves Jack Bauer, a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit, officials in the U.S. government, and conspirators racing across the clock (quite literally, a clock appears on-screen) to stop or cause one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil. And if the critics love it (season five received a 100% rating), you might too.
