As part of a broader Beaux-Arts preservation campaign, the iconic L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, the beautiful venue of many a fashion show, is set to get a two-year restoration courtesy of Ralph Lauren Corporation. France’s national school of fine arts and has long played a central role in Paris’s artistic and cultural scene, educating students in a variety of fine arts. Founded by Louis XIV, the school is now situated in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Earlier this week, Ralph Lauren hosted a Fall 13 Collection show and gala dinner in celebration of restoration project and patron sponsorship of L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Guests include H.S.H. The Princess Charlene of Monaco, Suzy Menkes, Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Elin Kling, Eriko Nakamura among others.
