In the new campaign, a series of vignettes to be aired on the History Channel, Chivas 18 handpicks three men and documents their life-altering voyages to different locales around the globe.
Debuting The Modern Gentleman Travels series, award winning photographer Wai Teik is the first of three gentlemen to travel to a destination to champion a cause near and dear to him.
Men’s Folio: What do you hope the public will take away from the images you shot in Laos?
Wai Teik: The basics of humanity and the simplicity of the people. It is a rare glimpse into how people in Laos can be so happy and contented with what little they have. We were born and bred in an entirely different country and environment; hence it is something we can scarcely fathom.
