All the New Shows Appearing On Netflix In December
What is Netflix’s point of view when it comes to all the new shows it’s releasing in December? Of course, you have classic Christmas feel-good movies but the ones that tackle important topics as of late —generational dysfunction, the evilness of mega-millionaire technopreneurs, and good old hero-saves-the-day plots — are worth a watch.

Here, the new shows on Netflix in December to add to queue.

Pictured Above: Another retelling of the classic Christmas movie — children mysteriously boarding the Polar Express train without any form of adult supervision — from 2004 that still holds up cinematically today.

Fatal Affair
TLDR: Woman meets her ex and for some bizarre reason, she gives him the impresson that she wants to be saved from her horrible marriage. Also, somewhat spoiler alert: he’s a crazy ex.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Whihe first Knives Out in 2019 was outstanding, filmmaker Rian Johnson brings the forgotten art of proper film script writing to life and revives acting in its more pure state. If you’re a  fan of Usual Suspects, the 1995 neo-noir mystery thriller film, you’ll loves this film as much.

Hot Skull
In a dystopian world (sort of like ours, we guess) , an epidemic spreads through verbal communication (again, like ours) , and a tyrannical institution pursues a linguist immune to the disease (okay, fine).

Love Today
In this cinematic universe, the impossible happens: a couple willingly exchanges their phones for 24 hours before getting married. Also, this film is by Pradeep Ranganathan who is also the director of Comali.

Qala
Haunted by her past, a talented singer with a rising career goes down the Black Swan lane no thanks to the pressure of success, a mother’s disdain and the voices of doubt calling out to her.

Scrooge: A Christmas Carol
On a cold Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge has to do one task before time runs out: be a decent human being for once in his life.

Sr
A tribute to Robert Downey Sr. by Robert Downey Jr., put your dad’s number on standby to tell him how much you love him after watching this show.

The Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus
Sigh, we guess someone out there is enjoying one of the new shows that’s coming to Netflix in December that revolves around a talking baby.

White Noise
TLDR: A couple in America faces the threat of death when an “airborne toxic event” from a chemical spill creates potentially lethal clouds. Also, somehow, it elucidates what “happiness” means in the most random cinematic way.
