1. Touch Rugby: I’ve always love challenging myself to learn something new. Touch rugby has been something I’ve recently come to enjoy and it has been a great gateway to meeting new people with a similar mindset.
—
2. His Parents: Despite getting a score of 155 for PSLE, my parents never gave up on me and were a constant pillar of support for me to do better. When I became the Top N Level student in Singapore in 2011, I credited my success to both my parents.
–
3. Muay Thai: Apart from normal days at the gym, Muay Thai was something I did recreationally. Martial Arts taught me a lot more than just knowing how to be a badass — it taught me discipline and determination among other things.
—
4. Maroon 5: When people ask me who my favourite band is, I always reply with Maroon 5. Not only do they produce incredible music, but individually they have fantastic personalities. “Sugar” is a song I want to play at my wedding.
—
5. Our Army: Despite the physical demand and sacrifices, I enjoyed every bit of my time in the Army. Having the opportunity to do so many things like training overseas to rappelling off a helicopter are experiences that probably money cannot buy.
—
6. Arnold Schwarzenegger: I never could spell Arnold’s last name correctly, but he still today is one of my greatest life inspirations. The determination and grit that he applied to his life — especially in the field of bodybuilding — has proved why he is a legend today.
—
7. Antoni Porowski: From Netflix’s Queer eye, Antoni has been an inspiration in many aspects of my life. From his fashion to his personality — are personality trades that I aspire to have and to radiate on others.
—
8. His Friends: To me, no matter how successful I may be in the future; the success will never be possible without those few friends that have invested time in me. I am one of those few people that says “I don’t really need a lot of friends, I need just a handful of friends that I know will be there no matter what.”
