This Spring/Summer 2017, Moncler updates a staple. The nautical jacket gets a waxy finish and vivid, dazzling colours in its Aqua Adventures Collection. The jacket transmits unbridled energy, getting paired with youthful seafaring T-shirts in heavy striped jersey, featuring a fun comic shark head design.
The jacket is the epitome of practicality. It is made of coated laqué cotton poplin, pleasingly crisp to the touch and updated with sporting inserts and colour detailing. The pop hues – a triad of brilliant bottle green, sunny yellow and crimson red – have been taken out of French films from the ’60s, from Monsieur Hulot (made in 1953, by J. Tati), to Un Homme et Une femme (1966 film by C. Lelouche) and Parapluies de Cherbourg (1964 film by J. Demy).
