Bag charms are all the rage now. As accessories to your bags, it has now formed enough cultural capital to be as important as the bag you are carrying. In an age where personal style is communicated through the smallest of details, the charms and accessories that you fasten to the handles of your carryall have become a shorthand for personality. Hence, it comes as no surprise that the release of the new variations of the Vivienne Doll, the Vivienne Fashionista from Louis Vuitton is perfectly timed. Not only that — the house has introduced a new companion to the accessory, the Louis Bear. Together, they present themselves as an LV-ified rendition of self-expression, with the added touch of craftsmanship and refinement, one that you simply cannot mass produce.

The Vivienne Doll, first designed and introduced in 2017 by Nicolas Ghesquière, is part-art and part-collectable figure. It sports a four-petal head and a singular monogram-flower eye. Since its debut, the Vivienne doll has become more than just a house mascot—it’s a symbol of joy, whimsy, and the Maison’s playful spirit. Over the years, Vivienne has been endlessly reinterpreted, appearing in countless forms and themes.
Now, she returns in the Vivienne Fashionista Capsule, a limited series of eight oversized dolls, each dressed in distinct high-fashion looks with accompanying doll accessories, and can additionally be housed in a special carrying case, the Vivienne Fashionista Coffret trunk.
While the Vivienne Doll is a reflection of Ghesquière, the Louis Bear is a more boyish take, based on Pharrell Williams’ previous runway shows, featuring the doll in four personalities: Baseball, Rockabilly, Western and Super Vision. Together, the Vivienne and Louis Bear form two parts of the house that make it whole. You can view the Vivienne and Louis Bear Dolls on the LV App or their website.
