LISA Has Designed Her Very Own Chivas 18 Bottle
When two global icons in their own right share centre stage, the result is the Chivas 18 x LISA Limited Edition Drop that celebrates the artistry of both.

What do Chivas, the holy grail of scotch and LISA, one of the world’s most influential K-Pop musicians have in common? Apparently enough for the Speyside, Scotland House to engage her as its first female face of the brand in Asia. Far from a commercial cash out, however, would be to consider the messaging of both brands (LISA herself, has reached Madonna levels with her singular moniker) and how they align.

Both are committed to the now as they are not afraid to draw on the heritage of the past to propel them forward and coincidentally, like some kind of cosmic coincidence, the Chivas 18 made its debut in 1997 too which was the year Lisa was born

Titled the Chivas 18 x LISA Limited Edition Drop, the golden nectar with all its complexities and wide-ranging 85 flavour-note profiles have not changed but its vessel certainly has. Besides being splashed with bold blue and hot pink (a visual reference to LISA’s own evolution with her hair) features across the design, having a neon font spelling the singer’s name, and the iconic Chivas Luckenbooth (the heart-shaped logo on the bottles) getting a makeover, LISA’s own love for trinkets takes shape in the form of a detachable 18-karat gold plated logo charm.


“I had so much fun working with the team at Chivas on this limited edition bottle. The bottle is typical LISA – bright, bold, and unique – and I’m so excited for everyone to finally see it. It is amazing to now have my own bottle – and cocktail too!” says LISA which is an exact sentiment that Chivas Global Marketing Director, Nick Blacknell echoes.

If one is able to summon the mental strength to open the bottle, a special Chivas 18 cocktail titled Pink Spice has been specially concocted with inspiration from LISA’s Asian heritage alongside the spirit’s elegantly layered blend. It involves 30ml of the spirit, 45ml of Sunkist Guava, 30ml of lemon tea, 45ml soda water, two dashes of Tabasco and garnishes like rosemary sprigs and chilli. Once one procures the necessary ingredients, build it into a Highball glass with ice before stirring and garnishing. To keep things crisp, add more ice if necessary.
