#TheObsessions — Independent Dance Artist And Co-Founder of Soul Signature Sufri Juwahir Shares His Favourite Things
What makes some of these local or global creatives tick? In this weekly column,  Independent dance artist and co-founder of Soul Signature Sufri Juwahir shares his favourite things.

1. Dumbbells: I do my daily morning routine in my living room with these. The sounds of the weights hitting each other is kinda therapeutic for me. Cling clang away!

2. Socks: Ahhh, the comfort of moving in the studio with these babies. Blisters and cuts in between our toes are a no joke, okay? My favourite go-to shop for socks? Bugis+ level 2, haha! If you know you know.

3. Makeup: I loovvvee putting on makeup before a show and especially drawing of the eyebrows and nose. By the way, I’m an Abang Melayu. Lol!

4. Chocolates: My go to snacks in-between rehearsal breaks as it’s a must for an energy boost.

5. Creating: To create, define and dance. I hold onto these 3 words dearly as a dance artist. It’s a beautiful sight seeing my dancers manifest my ideas into movements, like the one I choreographed a segment for Be Drawn In, a STB x NAC x OSchool collaboration in May 2021.

6. Call of Duty: EEYEAAAHHHH!!! This mobile game is sick!! I can spend hours past my bedtime grinding Ranked matches! Wanna team up with me in Ranked matches? Add me online! And yes, that’s my player name. Lol!

7. Riding: My definition of freedom is to just ride and be in the moment. Pure bliss.
