According to the Prada Fall Winter 2021 collection, being embraced intimately goes beyond the superficial physical touches; as life’s rhythm gathers momentum towards normalcy, obscure moments of serendipity are unravelled at places of intersections — the crossings of different lives that often go unnoticed.
These are reinterpretations of the creative fruits of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ labour in their first menswear collection as co-creative directors. Clearly shown throughout the collection was an innate sense of feelings, where touch becomes a prominent pull for its wearer. Ultra-cozy materials such as wool mohair are intricately paired with technical Re-nylon – as though one is encouraged to have a sense of the indoors when outside.
