Tell us about yourself. I produce music/DJ in my free time. Take us back to where your story started. I started producing music about five years ago. It was a significant moment in my life as it was getting dicult to play or create music in a band as people were beginning to have bigger commitments in life. Who are the biggest supporters in your journey? My friends and other local musicians I’ve met throughout the years. They push me to constantly improve and eventually find the kind of music that I heavily identify myself with. What is one thing you would tell your younger self who is just starting out? Don’t be afraid to try new things even if it means failing. I’m all up for new experiences now!

What does it mean to you to have an origin? To me, having an origin is to have a constant thing I stand for that stems from experiences growing up. I think it is important as it is what people associate me with, which creates my identity. How do you maintain your originality as a creative? To maintain originality is to have a stamp of identity in every creation. It could be just a hint of it but it has to be something people can associate you with easily. What inspires you? I get inspired by long night drives and being around nature. It keeps my mind off our fast-paced lives.

What do you like most about the Braun Buffel bags? The new designs and direction! I like that it feels fresh and it has a very modern look. What is the highlight of your career so far ? It would be releasing my first song this year at the peak of the Circuit Breaker. I took the opportunity to really try new things but releasing a song and it being well received by my friends has to be the highlight. Where and how would you see yourself carrying the Braun Buffel bag? I can see myself carrying the Braun Buffel bag while travelling. I will pair it with some of my favourite outfits!

Tell us about yourself . I recently graduated with a fashion marketing diploma and I’m interested in playing a role in fashion. Take us back to where your story started. I became interested in fashion through the influence of my mum and sister. My mum used to be a fashion designer and buyer while my sister is currently working in the industry. They constantly provide me with inspiration and ideas to work with. It is always good to know that my family can relate to the industry and support my work. Who are the biggest supporters in your journey? I would say my biggest supporters in my journey are my friends and family. They are always supporting and encouraging me in whatever I do. I’m really grateful for the unconditional support.

What is one thing you would tell your younger self who is just starting out? Something I would tell my younger self is to keep learning new things and be open minded. Why did you think it was important to involve yourself in fashion? Ever since I was young, I have always been into the creative scene — be it fashion or art. It allows me to express myself in a unique way and serves as an inspiration to others. How do you maintain your originality as a creative? It is inevitable to be influenced by others due to the strong presence of social media. Everyone has their own personal experiences and I believe that is how I try to incorporate my personal touch of creativity to my work.

What inspires you? I get my inspiration through skateboarding, architecture and people on the streets. Travelling to countries and being able to watch the world in a dierent perspective also inspires me. My recent trip to Japan was an eye opener as i was able to experience the fashion scene there. Their people, culture and fashion scene are completely different from what we have here in Singapore. What do you like most about the Braun Buffel bag? I like how it’s so versatile and matches any outfit. The bag is also spacious but not overly bulky, making it easier for me to carry around more things and look sleek at the same time. What is the highlight of your career so far ? Doing fashion campaigns and witnessing its unveiling.
