From 8-21 March, TAG Heuer and Watches of Switzerland celebrate the first pop-up art exhibition, URBANArts at Paragon featuring artworks by the watchmaker’s very own Art Provocateur, Alec Monopoly.
The American artist owed his fame to the well-acquainted debonair banker, Mr. Monopoly, in our widely beloved game of Monopoly. A street painter and graffiti artist at heart, Alec Monopoly injected humour and vibrancy into his works and in depictions of Mr Monopoly. This creates the perfect marriage with TAG Heuer’s DNA in celebrating the inner rebel in everyone.
The pop-up will display the latest pieces from the Swiss Avant-Garde brand’s 2018 collection. A highlight of the showcase will be the Alec Monopoly Special Edition Aquaracer 300m Calibre 5. This noteworthy edition is specially hand-painted by Alec Monopoly himself and is the last in the world of a very limited series of 5 Aquaracer timepieces.
For rare watch collectors who love doing good, you might want to head down to the silent auction of the rare watch which will be held throughout the duration of URBANArts. The Hour Glass Limited undertakes to donate the net proceeds of the winning bid to National Kidney Foundation Singapore. Auction results will be announced on 21 March, 3pm at the pop-up venue itself.
